For over 35 years, campers have made Great Bear their camping destination because of our spacious (wooded and open ) waterfront campsites, meticulously clean grounds and washrooms, safe, family atmosphere, all modern amenities, and access to our maple sugar bush products and hiking trails on our 4th generation Hagerman family farm.
Located in the Saint John River Valley on the Mactaquac headpond, 25 minutes from Kings Landing Historical Settlement, halfway between 2 golf courses: Mactaquac Golf Course at Mactaquac Provincial Park, and Nackawic Golf & Country Club in the town of Nackawic.
We recommend that the easiest route to the campground is to take exit 231 off route 2, and then following Route 105 South (13 miles) to 3549 Route 105.
