Great Bear Sugarbush Easter Egg Hunt
Great Bear Sugarbush Open House will be April 4th between 12:30 and 4:00. The Easter Egg Hunt will take place the same day between 2-2:30 pm. Visit for candy on the snow April 4th, 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Hundreds of coloured eggs are hidden with lots of terrific prizes for winning egg hunters.


Maple Field Trips

Great Bear Sugar House invites your staff and students to a unique educational experience in the fresh air, custom designed for students of all age groups.
Tours typically take three hours. The introduction explains maple production beginning with First Nations to the present, the importance of maple to the rural economy and an understanding of where and how this special food product came to be.
Highlights:
1 Demonstrations and displays of both modern and antique tools and equipment
2 Taste samples of maple products from sap to sugar followed by generous servings of taffy on the snow and a Great Bear specialty, maple dipped marshmallows, two picnic tables will seat up to 200 for lunch break
3 Ample parking for several buses at our location, 3549 Route 105.
